Our next delivery from Moongoat arrives tomorrow, but in the meantime, I had to make a quick trip to their Costa Mesa location this morning to grab a few small bags to keep us going. Coffee crisis averted!

Ingredients:
- 5 g matcha powder (@matcha.bot is the best)
- 1 oz yuzu ( @yuzuco )
- 1 oz raw wildflowers honey
Simply whisk all the ingredients together until smooth and frothy. Top with a lemon slice for an extra burst of citrus!🍋‍🟩

This morning at Trader Joe’s, I found the sweetest plums, and they instantly made me homesick. I haven’t seen my mom in 4 years—Covid messed up her visa, we’ve been stuck oceans apart. She loves plums, and I grew up watching her cut them in half, poach them in vanilla syrup, I turned them to a pastry by baking them into a simple yet perfect French frangipane. Our pastries are handcrafted by skilled artisans, using raw ingredients and a meticulous process that can take days to complete. Our morning bakers start as early as 2-3AM, carefully crafting hundreds of pastries so that everything is fresh when we open at 8 AM. Production continues until 7 PM, with our dedicated team, including our Chef/Owners, working tirelessly to prepare for the next day.

Our pastries are handcrafted by skilled artisans, using raw ingredients and a meticulous process that can take days to complete. Our morning bakers start as early as 2-3AM, carefully crafting hundreds of pastries so that everything is fresh when we open at 8 AM. Production continues until 7 PM, with our dedicated team, including our Chef/Owners, working tirelessly to prepare for the next day.
